Laser therapy uses light to accelerate the body’s natural healing processes. It is a noninvasive procedure that stimulates cell regeneration and increases blood circulation. This therapy is used to increase the speed, quality and tensile strength of tissue repair, resolve inflammation, and give pain relief.
The laser decreases recovery time post-surgically and speeds the healing of sprains, strains and sport-related injuries. It also decreases pain and increases mobility in older arthritic patients.

Laser therapy is generally applied in three phases. Treatments of every day to every other day for the first week are necessary during the initial phase. Next, we would decrease treatments for the next two weeks.
The maintenance phase for chronic conditions and pain relief may include treatments from once a week or once a month depending on how your pet responds to the therapy.
